Conference Description

This conference “Qualitative Computing: Diverse Worlds and Research Practices” aims to bring users from the North and South, from the East and the West and from the centers and the peripheries. It is an excellent occasion for CAQDAS users from all disciplines to share their experience with qualitative software.

“Qualitative Computing: Diverse Worlds and Research Practices” focuses on how research practices from diverse worlds have been fostering qualitative computing. Such research practices need to be analyzed from methodological perspectives and the epistemological roots of each national way of practicing qualitative research must to be discussed. This Conference is a great chance to observe the diversity of qualitative research and the thirty years of CAQDAS influence into research methodologies in social sciences.

Keynote speakers:

Professor Nigel Fielding from University of Surrey  and Professor Udo Kelle from Philipps-Universität Marburg,  both leading experts in qualitative  research methodology will be the keynote speakers at the Conference.
